Before heading directly into the field, the 2026 Polling Center interviewers and supervisors first participated in a role play session, one of the important stages in this training.

In this session, participants practiced conducting face-to-face interviews directly. We also brought in outside participants as respondents so the atmosphere felt more realistic and challenging, rather than just a simulation among training participants.

The supervisors and interviewers practiced delivering questions well, maintaining neutrality, and building comfortable communication with respondents.

Role play became an important first step before participants face real field situations. Because understanding theory alone is not enough, practical experience is also an important part of shaping a field team that is ready to handle various conditions in the field.
