Before going into the field, Polling Center 2026 interviewers and supervisors participated in a role-play session, an important step in preparing for real interviews with respondents.

In this session, participants practiced conducting face-to-face interviews directly. We also brought in outside participants as respondents so the atmosphere felt more realistic and challenging, rather than just a simulation among training participants.

The supervisors and interviewers practiced delivering questions well, maintaining neutrality, and building comfortable communication with respondents.

Role play became an important first step before participants face real field situations. Because understanding theory alone is not enough, practical experience is also an important part of shaping a field team that is ready to handle various conditions in the field.
